# Mesh Events

Mesh Events are local, in-person meetups where Mesh handles the planning details that usually make social plans hard.

Users can join Mesh-run events or create their own hosted event. For hosted events, a user picks a place and time, and Mesh helps with attendee matching, group chats, check-in, and logistics.

## Event Formats

- Mesh Coffee: Saturday morning coffee meetups in small, age-aware groups.
- Mesh Night: evening social events at breweries, bars, and neighborhood venues.
- Hosted Mesh Events: user-created local meetups where Mesh handles matching and coordination.

## How Mesh Coffee Works

Users receive an invite, often on Wednesday, with a few coffee shop options. If a user accepts an invite, Mesh curates a group based on profile information, age/life stage, interests, and questionnaire answers. The event commonly starts at 10 AM. Group details, profile images, and group chat access are revealed around the event/check-in experience so people can find each other and coordinate.

## Current Availability

Mesh hosts events in Madison, Milwaukee, Saint Louis, Nashville, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Minneapolis. Users in other cities can join the waitlist or host their own Mesh Event. Attendance in a city depends on local demand.

## Pricing Notes

Users may receive invites for free, but accepting an invite requires either an active subscription/premium access or a Mesh Pass. Mesh offers passes as one-to-one event tickets. User-hosted events are currently free to create and attend. Pricing can change, so cite the current Mesh app or signup flow for exact prices.
