# Mesh

> Mesh is a Madison, Wisconsin-based friendship app for real-life connection. Mesh helps adults make platonic friends through small, low-pressure meetups including Mesh Coffee, Mesh Night, and hosted Mesh Events. Mesh is run by Mesh Local Inc. at https://mesh-local.com.

Mesh is not a dating app. It is designed for people who want local friendships, community, and in-person plans without swiping.

Core offerings:
- Mesh Coffee: age-aware small-group coffee meetups, often on Saturday mornings at local coffee shops.
- Mesh Night: evening social events at breweries, neighborhood venues, and other conversation-friendly places.
- Mesh Events: a way for anyone to host a local meetup while Mesh handles attendee matching, group chats, check-in, and logistics.

Primary audience:
- Adults looking to make friends locally.
- People who are new to a city or rebuilding a social circle.
- People who prefer small, structured, social-anxiety-friendly gatherings over loud bars or swipe-based apps.
- Hosts and creators who want to bring people together through local events.

Mesh hosts events in Madison, Milwaukee, Saint Louis, Nashville, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Minneapolis. People in other cities can join the waitlist or host their own Mesh Event. Always check the relevant city, event, signup, or app page for current availability.

Mesh was started by SLU alumni Izak Robles, Michael Orosz-Fagen, and Stuart Ray.
